Come in, she said I’ll give you shelter from the storm.

For as long as I can remember I’ve pictured myself in this Bob Dylan song. As I’ve grown older and spent time learning to understand myself I have found that my deep desire to belong and be understood is matched by my deep desire to support others in feeling seen and belonging. So if life feels like a storm, come in, I’ll give you shelter.

The relationship you have with yourself is the single most important relationship you will experience throughout your life. The way in which you care for and communicate with yourself will directly impact every other relationship you have. It will impact the way you see the world and the way you feel within the world. Remaining in tune with your bodies rhythm can be challenging as you work to keep up with the pace of life going on around you. As you rise to meet the demands of your family life, social life, career, faith and spirituality, physical health and emotional well being, you may find yourself feeling misaligned, exhausted or out of tune.

When this happens, I believe you are being called to check in with the alignment between your internal world and your external world. Your internal world is meant to be a place of peace where you can retreat to stillness and comfort to connect with who you truly are. You are then meant to share your most authentic self fearlessly with the external world, so that the truest you can be awakened through the way you move, speak and live.

I believe feeling at peace within the ourselves requires us to come home to ourselves and take shelter in the comfort of our own care.

To inspire your peaceful life, you will find shelter retreats and events inviting you to return home to yourself again and again.

I hope you'll join sometime, and I think you're lovely.
