EMERGE BREATH WORK

My name is Kate, well Katelyn, but Kate fits best! I am a healer, space-holder, survivor, and sensitive soul. A woman, solo mama, daughter, sister, friend. I am a guide, a teacher, a dreamer, and creator. And I am honored you are here!

I am a trauma-informed certified Breathwork facilitator, what this means is I spent over 250 hours training with one of the country’s prominent trauma specialists, as well as the founder of the Pause Method, special guest leaders, and individual mentors. I also am reiki I & II attuned, 200hr RYT, and a barre-style fitness instructor extraordinaire!

WHAT IS BREATHWORK?

Breathwork is a practice of continual conscious controlled breath patterns used to move stagnation and emotion within our energetic bodies! My practice is focused on healing and transformation through active breath and allowing for relaxation and connection with self as an after effect of the work!

Throughout our lives each of our experiences leaves an imprint in our body. Our subconscious emotional reactions, think nervous belly when put on the spot, butterflies when encountering an attractive human, fully body release when deeply hugged by a loved one, are all built responses based on similar experiences along your journey. Within our systems we hold these stories; when left unattended these stories can build on itself, in many cases taking away our ability to respond after reflection and instead bring us to reacting on instinct.

Breathwork offers us the opportunity to activate our bodies responses in a safe container, where we can quiet the mind and tune into the body and energetic needs. Our Breathwork journeys attend to our emotional blocks, leaning into our body as the intelligent guide that it is.
